Therapy for Founders & Solopreneurs
When you run the business, you often carry everything in your head — the plans, the pressure, the team, the money worries, and the impact at home. This page is for founders and solopreneurs who want a confidential space to make sense of all that, without needing to “perform” for anyone.
Book a First SessionThe Weight of Doing It All
As a founder or solopreneur, you might look “in control” from the outside, while privately juggling uncertainty, responsibility and constant decision-making. You are the one people turn to — clients, colleagues, family — which can leave very little space for your own feelings, doubts or worries. Therapy gives you a place where you can put everything down for a moment and be honest about how it actually feels.
A space that isn’t work
This isn’t a strategy session or business coaching. It is a protected time where you do not have to lead, decide or impress anyone — you can simply be a person who happens to run a business.
Somewhere to put the pressure
Together we can explore how stress, responsibility and uncertainty are affecting you, so that you feel more grounded and less overwhelmed in your day-to-day life.
Support that is truly confidential
Our work together is confidential. You are not reporting to an investor, a board or a partner – you are in a space where you can speak freely and be heard with care and without judgement.
What Founders & Solopreneurs Bring to Therapy
You are welcome to bring anything that feels heavy, confusing or stuck — personal or professional. Many founders and solopreneurs talk about:
- Constant decision pressure and responsibility
- Burnout signals and difficulty switching off
- Feeling isolated at the top or “on your own”
- Balancing work with family, relationships and rest
- Self-doubt, imposter feelings or harsh self-criticism
- Fear of failure or success and what that might mean
- Managing conflict with clients, partners or team members
- Guilt about time, priorities or not being “enough”
- Questions about identity beyond work and achievement
How It Works
The process is simple and flexible, so that support can fit around the reality of your life and work.
1. Initial Conversation
We begin with an initial 50-minute session online, where you can share what is bringing you to therapy and get a sense of how it feels to work together. There is no obligation to continue.
2. Regular Sessions
If you decide to continue, we will agree a rhythm that suits you – weekly, fortnightly or another arrangement. Sessions last around 50 minutes and can be online or, where possible, in person.
3. Confidential, Ongoing Support
Throughout, my role is to offer a steady, confidential space where you can explore what you are experiencing, understand yourself more deeply and develop ways of living and working that feel more sustainable.
Why Work With Me as a Founder or Solopreneur
I have worked with many people who are in demanding roles or running their own businesses. I understand that stepping into therapy when you are used to holding everything together can feel unfamiliar or exposing. My intention is to create a space where you can gradually let go of some of that pressure and make room for your own needs.
As with all my work, I bring an integrative, person-centred approach. This means we focus on what matters most to you, at your pace, drawing on different therapeutic models where helpful, while keeping your experience at the heart of our work together.
If you are a founder or solopreneur who feels the weight of carrying a lot on your own, therapy can give you a place to share that load.
To book an initial session or ask any questions, you can use the contact form on the main page or email me directly at [email protected] .
